Bashful Brides: Wedding Invites

I thought one of the easiest task on my wedding to-do list was the wedding invite.

WRONG!

My sister had her's done at this very established card printer located at Brickfields many years ago and told us that we'll be spoilt for choice at the card printer that it's impossible to not find a card that suited us, or any other couple for that matter.

So we went visiting the card printer (now located along Old Klang Road) one day, about a week before Chinese New Year 2012 thinking that we will be able to finalise and settle the wedding invite order on the same day.

WRONG AGAIN !

My sister was right. There were tonnes of cards to choose from. But NONE suited us.

We left feeling dejected. So I went browsing for card printers online, something I didn't bother doing before because I was so sure we will be engaging the card printer we visited at Old Klang Road.

Browsing for card printers wasn't easy. Most card printers I found online print traditional wedding invites like these:

I was seriously giving up. Then one fine day, a bride tagged my Make Up Artist ("MUA") in her wedding pictures uploaded onto facebook and as I was clicking 'next', I found this :

I was ecstatic! It was exactly what I was looking for ! But wait ! I don't know who made these. There was no indication and there was no tag on the pic. I didn't know what else to do but to message the bride on facebook and introduce myself as a Bride to Be who engaged the same MUA as hers and clicked on her picture to find these beautiful invites and would like to engage the same printer to do my invites.

I was so afraid that she's gonna think I am some psycho stalking her or something. Imagine my relief when she responded to my facebook message and gave me the contact to Paper Thrill.

From there I found that Paper Thrill had a few modern designs which can be customised slightly to suit different wedding themes.
